Analyst Jamie Coutts Predicts Altseason Indicator Will Likely Emerge in the Upcoming Weeks – Unveils His Preferred Altcoin Selections
Real Vision analyst, Jamie Coutts, predicts that the altcoin market is on the verge of a major breakout against Bitcoin (BTC). Coutts, a former Bloomberg analyst, shared his insights with his 18,100 followers on the social media platform X, stating that the altcoin season index, which measures the profitability of digital assets relative to BTC, is likely to start signaling bullish trends for altcoins in the near future. Coutts believes that the current stage of the crypto, presidential, and liquidity cycles point towards an upcoming altseason. He identifies two key indicators for an alt season: the rise of the smart contract platform (SCP) sector, and an uptrend in the alt season index. Coutts highlights that while the alt season index has yet to show an increase, SCP projects are starting to display bullish signals. He recommends Solana (SOL), NEAR Protocol (NEAR), and Toncoin (TON) as top alt projects that are expected to perform well in the coming weeks. Currently, SOL/BTC is trading at 0.00250 BTC ($168), NEAR is trading at 0.0001135 BTC ($7.63), and TON is trading at 0.00009646 BTC ($6.46). Coutts suggests that investors can either anticipate the alt season or focus on assets that are already outperforming in order to benefit from their continued relative strength. It is important for investors to conduct their own research and exercise caution when making high-risk investments in Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, or digital assets.
