Anthony Pompliano AI and Bitcoin are Key Players in a DecadeLong Trend Find Out Why
Anthony Pompliano, the founder of the venture capital firm Pomp Investments, has made a bold prediction about the future of Bitcoin (
BTC
), suggesting that artificial intelligence (AI) will play a significant role in boosting its value over the next decade.
During a recent interview on CNBC Television, Pompliano explained that the wealth generated from the AI sector could flow into Bitcoin as a preferred store-of-value asset.
“Several years ago, the focus was all on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Now, there’s a lot of buzz around AI. However, I believe that people are overlooking the fact that these are actually part of the same trend. We are entering an automated world where AI will create enormous wealth, and Bitcoin will serve to protect that wealth… What we’re witnessing is that people are investing in Bitcoin, crypto, and now they are shifting their focus to AI. However, this doesn’t mean that Bitcoin’s value is going to plummet by 50%.
As AI continues to grow, generating more wealth, people will seek to protect that wealth, and I believe they will turn back to Bitcoin. My belief is that AI and Bitcoin are both part of a long-term trend spanning 10 years. We have strong tailwinds in this direction. The positive news for the United States is that there’s potential for an increase in GDP due to the productivity from AI, with Bitcoin being able to safeguard a significant portion of this wealth. Those who are focused on day-to-day or week-to-week developments are missing out on this major trend for the next decade.”
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $60,859, marking a decrease of more than 5% in the last 24 hours.
