Winklevoss Twins Donate 1000000 in Bitcoin to Donald Trump

Gemini cryptocurrency exchange co-founders, Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, have decided to each donate $1 million worth of Bitcoin (BTC) to Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump.

In a detailed post on the social media platform X, the billionaire brothers expressed their support for Trump, citing his favorable stance on cryptocurrencies as a key factor in their decision.

According to Cameron Winklevoss, “I have donated $1 million in bitcoin (15.47 BTC) to Donald Trump and will be voting for him in November. President Trump is pro-Bitcoin, pro-Crypto, pro-Business, and will put an end to the Biden Administration’s war on crypto. Onward!”

Tyler Winklevoss elaborated on the alleged anti-crypto policies of the Biden Administration, accusing them of using government agencies like the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to undermine the industry.

He criticized the lack of clear regulatory guidelines for the crypto industry and accused the Biden Administration of manipulating these agencies for political gain.

The Gemini co-founder urged the crypto community to support Trump in the upcoming election as they believe he is pro-crypto and pro-business.

Last year, the Winklevoss brothers warned that Democrats could face backlash from voters for their anti-crypto stance.
