OKX Transforms McLaren MCL60 Race Car into Stealth Mode ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix

Singapore, Singapore – September 14, 2023
OKX and McLaren have collaborated to create a stealth mode livery that will transform the color scheme of McLaren’s race car. The new design combines black with the team’s classic papaya trim, symbolizing the brands’ shared belief in hard work, excellence, and innovation.

The MCL60 was unveiled in stealth mode on September 13, 2023, at an exclusive media event held in Singapore at the Fullerton Bay Hotel’s Lantern. The event was attended by Haider Rafique, the chief marketing officer of OKX, McLaren F1 Team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and Matt Dennington, the executive director of partnerships and accelerator at McLaren Racing.

A limited-edition t-shirt featuring the stealth mode livery will be available for purchase at the McLaren Store. Additionally, attendees of Token2049, a Web 3.0 conference taking place in Singapore before the race, will have the opportunity to receive a limited giveaway.

To further engage fans, OKX will host the OKX Race Club, a McLaren-themed fan zone at Chijmes in Singapore. The OKX Race Club will run from September 14 to September 17 and will feature a show car in stealth mode, racing simulators, giveaways, and surprise guests throughout the race weekend. Free tickets for the OKX Race Club are available for registration.

Zak Brown, the CEO of McLaren Racing, expressed his excitement about the partnership with OKX and the unique livery. He hopes that fans will appreciate the new design and take advantage of the fan zone to connect with the team.

Haider Rafique, the chief marketing officer of OKX, emphasized the importance of teamwork, creativity, and innovation in achieving success. The stealth mode livery represents these principles and celebrates the return of Formula One to the Asia Pacific region, which is a significant hub for Web 3.0.
